Sustainability
We care about the environment. We do our best to use sustainable materials, cut down on waste, and recycle wherever possible.
Investing in Sustainable Printing
We use both the Snapmaker U1 and Bambu Lab P1S AMS Combo for our 3D printing. While the P1S was our first printer, we later invested in the Snapmaker U1 specifically for its more efficient approach to multicolour printing. With four independent printheads, the U1 can switch between colours without the extensive colour flushing associated with traditional multicolour systems, helping us reduce PLA waste and energy consumption. We carefully allocate each job to the printer best suited to it, allowing us to optimise performance while minimising unnecessary material and energy use.

PLA
A Plant-Based Plastic
We use PLA (Polylactic Acid) because it’s made from renewable, plant-based sources like corn or sugarcane, not petroleum. It’s also biodegradable under industrial conditions and produces fewer carbon emissions when made and used compared to traditional plastics.
